LucasFilm, which has been purchased by Disney, has decided to pull the plug on it’s re-release of Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. This seems like one of the smartest moves of all time. When you look at the abysmal box office records that The Phantom Menace, $43million dollars, it just makes sense that they are pulling the plug on this.
Officially, LucasFilm and Disney say that they want to “focus on Episodes VII, VIII, and XI. I say, whatever they need to do to get moving on the next trilogy and any movies going forward; just get on that. Don’t worry about the lame prequels, and bring on the J. J. Abrams!
