It has been over 20 years, think about that, since the Death of Superman event, and now in 2014 we are going to see the rematch of the century. DC Comics is promising more than your standard grudge match. Superman: Doomed will be the first major conflict between the two titans in the New 52 era, Doomsday was first introduced during Villains Month event and has appeared recently in the Superman/Wonder Woman ongoing. “Doomed” will begin on May 7th in a special Superman: Doomed One-Shot issue and then continue in the pages of Superman, Action Comics, and Superman/Wonder Woman. Superman comics have not been so good in the New 52, now that Greg Pak is writing Action Comics which I have heard great things about, will there be an upswing for the Man of Steel?
