We’re less than a month away from the 75th Hunger Games, and Lionsgate has released the final trailer for the upcoming film! We finally get a better look at the actual place where the Quarter Quell is taking place, though the trailer is only a minute long. I’m keeping my expectations low because this is my favorite book of the series, and I don’t wanna go in to it expecting too much; but the film does look like they upped the horrible CGI of the first movie and have teased enough to get my excited. Check out the trailer below!
Here’s the synopsis:
[box_light]THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.[/box_light]
The film stars Josh Hutcherson, Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Stanley Tucci, Jeffrey Wright, and Amanda Plummer. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens November 22nd.
