It’s time to open up The Toy Chest!
Want. Need. Want Need. Want. Yes folks here it is, the first OFFICIAL playset for your Super 7 Alien figures. The AWESOME thing is that if you have jumped on the Funko bandwagon then you should soon have some Funko Reaction figures that could fit in perfectly, Ahem… Predator. For those of US not lucky enough to be attending this year there will be POST SDCC PREORDERS available for a limited time, here’s the details from Super 7’s official blog!
[box_light]The Alien Egg Chamber Playset will be available for pre-order during all days of on site at SDCC and online at our website www.super7store.com. The pre-order will coincide with the show, and will only be available for pre-order from Wednesday July 23rd at 6pm through Sunday July 27th at 5pm. All playsets will be limited to the number of orders received and made to order. Playset bases will be made from hand cast resin unless enough orders are received to manufacture the bases in injection molded plastic. Delivery date for resin bases will be 3-4 months, and injection bases will be 6-7 months (hopefully faster).
$100 each + $15 shipping (this is a really big box and base), available for pre-order from Wednesday July 21st at 6pm through Sunday July 27th at 5pm, quantities will be made to order.[/box_light]
This is a pretty amazing offer, especially since they will be making each set to order. I love the Super 7 Alien series and having this would only convince me more to set up a killer diorama! Speaking of Super 7, their good friends over at Funko have some more exclusives to add to their already hefty list!
I told you I’d be back with another update from this amazing toy company! Just in the past week Funko has unveiled TWO announcements for their exclusives at SDCC. Last week we shared with you 1-6. this week witness 7 & 8!!
More POP!s?! You’re damn straight! There’s one for every taste, but I am especially interested in those Thundercats ones, glow in the dark Mumm-ra!! That Ghost is too cute for me, I prefer my Direwolves to be a little more vicious. Sloth, love it. For you horror peops out there, a couple of icons!
Another EXCLUSIVE Game of Thrones Legacy Collection figure!!?? This Tyrion comes with the %*^#$ helmet?! I still love my Tyrion figure, but that helmet… AND THE BATTLE SCAR!!! DINKLAGE!!!!!!
Now this is funny. Game of Thrones Mystery Minis based on the DEAD characters from the show. Heads up people! SPOILER ALERT!! The fact that they are in black and white is pretty rad. I hope these are available after the show as well. It’s pretty cool that these are current right up to the end of Season 4!
Finally, two pretty groovy ReAction figures. Jack Skellington and Sloth. Two very iconic characters from our Geekly world. This is your chance to get Zero who is specially packed with Jack for the show! Also Sloth comes in his comic-con appropriate attire, his classic Superman T-shirt!
