This is the last episode before the two part season finale. The Turtles are resting are a hard battle with Karai and her traps of doom. The final episode of Crognard the Barbarian is hot on the Turtles mind and Mikey decides that it’s okay to play it without Raph. However the other strongly advise against it. While Mikey rebels and play the last episode of Crognard, Raph is on patrol in the sewers. Unlike the disappointing ending of Crognard’s episode, Raph gets his plate full with the mythical urban legend of Dino-man in the sewer tunnels. Dino-man is actually a mutant or alien Triceratops that goes by the name Zog. Lance Hendrickson voices the Dino-man and gives the character a more commandingly feral attitude. Raph realizes that Zog may be a great ally against Shredder or anybody else who gives the Turtles any problems. He discovers that Zog is there to hunt down and destroy the Krang hidden base. Raph tries to explain that the Krang has been defeated and stuck in their own dimension, but Zog continues to search for them. Believing that Raph is a military superior, Zog follows him back to the lair where he introduces him to the others. Raph explains to them that Zog thinks that the Krang are back and that they have a hidden base somewhere in the city. With Zog’s help, they discover that the Krang are using the Statue of Liberty as their base and trying to open a portal for their techno-drones to enter. The other Turtles are hesitant about Raph’s new friend, but he thinks Zog can help them defeat the Krang. He believes that he has another kindred spirit with an aggressive attitude.
When they reach the Statue of Liberty, Zog’s information is confirmed. After a major beatdown to the Krang, the Turtles discover that Zog is part of a military empire, the Triceraton Empire, determined to wipe out the Krang and their evil ways. Unfortunately, they perceive anybody who let the Krang take over, weak and should be considered collateral damage in their wake. Raph tries to reason with him, but Zog refuses to believe that Earth should not be wiped out. He triggers a beacon that sends a signal to the Triceraton Armada to commence the invasion of Earth. Raph destroys the beacon and fights Zog until he is defeated. What the Turtles did not realize is that the signal from the beacon successfully reached the Armada and the Triceraton Empire is quickly approaching.
It looks like the Turtles has got their hands full. A dinosaur armada is rapidly approaching and the Krang are back. Earth is going to be in the middle of an all out war with two very formidable adversaries. Can the Turtles survive this? I hope so.
