The ticking of the clock was unbearable. An uncomfortable aroma of sweating leather seems to be sitting on my head. An old man coughs in the corner and I see a teller murder him with her eyes. He quickly tries to swallow his cough, which only successfully exacerbates the situation. A new click enters the rhythm, followed by wide eyes and quick yelps.

I feel like some intense revelations are about to be had in this comic. This is the halfway mark and after the last issue, things aren’t going to go well, I don’t think. Who knows, this series could become the feel good comic of the year, surprising everyone.

It slipped out of my mouth before I could even censor it. Immediately my hands moved to push the words back in my head. As I process my thoughts, a masked man slides in front of me, a shotgun causally pointed at my brain.

I head butted him. Yeah, I know, I never knew I was a badass. In fact, it’s almost like someone else took over my head. I wonder if that’s something I should look into. Meanwhile I have to deal with this unconscious thug at my feet.
