The lights in the bus shut off as the last few people found their seats. Ian had been fortunate enough to get a seat to himself, it may have been the backpack that was draped across the arms of the chair. Suddenly, soaked in darkness, Ian fell into himself with a strange mischievous glee. It was something primal that Ian couldn’t place. He wrapped himself in his jacket and the bus hissed to life.

I am soooo fucking ready for this book. I cannot explain just how much this book hits the spot. I loved Zdarsky’s run on Spectacular Spider-Man last year. This is a brilliant idea that may have been done with Batman before. It’s a perfect fit for Spidey and I am gushing.

This has been my second favorite (behind Cover) Bendis original title coming out of DC. Michael Gaydos’s art is inescapably awesome and that plays a major part in this book being as enthralling as it is. A story about art has got to have some pretty things to look at.

We know how I feel about this team. I’m a sucker for their brand of crime drama. This book fills a whole in my life.
Not minutes into the ride, trees started closing in on the small road. Soon they were sailing through a hallway of greenery. The leaves roofing the road making the dark alleyway even darker. It felt like a descent into madness, and while the rest of the patrons on the bus were dozing, Ian watched with fascination as the trees began to wrap around him and the bus.
