His only fear was to wake up inside a casket. A fear not many people live to see first hand, fortunately. Jason feared it so much that he went as far as to make plans to donate his body to science to avoid the chance he may end up underground. He was safe from fear, he thought.
Captain America: Steve Rogers #3 (Marvel)\
Nick Spencer (W) Jesus Saiz (A)
I’m really excited for the rest of this arc. After they explained what was going on with nazi Cap, I’m in. There is so much room for this story to grow.
Spider-Gwen #10 (Marvel)
Jason Latour (W) Robbi Rodriguez (A)
What happens when you lose your super powers? Apparently you get your ass kicked by Frank Castle.
All New All Different Avengers #12 (Marvel)
Mark Waid (W) Mahmud A. Asrar (A)
After they released that the team was splitting up, I was a little upset, I mean they practically just got together. Once they showed that they were making two teams, I got excited again. Until then, we got some more inter-dimensional battling, that…somehow pertains to Civil War II apparently.
The Autumnlands #12 (Image)
Kurt Busiek (W) Ben Dewey (A)
Yay, a new addition to our party. I really loved the last issue, I’m just afraid that the comic is getting a little slow. These things happen, I’m sure it’s just a phase.
Ms.Marvel #9 (Marvel)
G. Willow Wilson (W) Takeshi Miyagawa (A)
Disillusioned with her idol, I can only imagine the turmoil Kamala is going through. I guess I won’t have to though, because there is a comic to do my thinking for me.
Detective Comics #937 (DC)
James Tynion IV (W) Alvaro Martinez (A)
Interesting twist at the end of the last issue. From the solicitation, this issue may actually be all about the B-Man himself. So far this series is kicking ass, go pick it up if you can.
The Flash #3 (DC)
Joshua Williamson (W) Carmine Di Giandomenico (A)
So, I made a joke about everyone being a speedster. I am not calling myself a prophet, but I mean, the evidence is pointing in that direction.
Divinity II #4 of 4 (Valiant)
Matt Kindt (W) Trevor Hairsine (A)
Okay, I know this was on the list last week, but I was lies to by the internets. There was a last minute delay. If it shows up again next week, you know the drill.
Wonder Woman #3 (DC)
Greg Rucka (W) Liam Sharp (A)
I only just realized that this comic is doing two arcs concurrently. That is an awesome move. A weird one, but an awesome one.
Jupiter’s Legacy Vol.2 #2 of 5 (Image)
Mark Millar (W) Frank Quitely (A)
The last issue of this comic was really really good. I am super excited for the Jupiter-verse. I only wonder if they’ll keep going after this volume or if it is going to be going the way of the Dodo.
Old Man Logan #9 (Marvel)
Jeff Lemire (W) Andrea Sorrentino (A)
The last issue was a real tear jerker. I was not expecting that at all. I predicted we would get a story about the worst day of Logan’s life, not a story about the day he got over his survivors guilt. Excellent issue.
Black Panther #4 (Marvel)
Ta-Nehisi Coates (W) Brian Stelfreeze (A)
The first arc of this amazing series comes to a close. I truly think this run will be something that people will talk about for a long long time. If you aren’t reading this, you are missing out.
Archie #10 (Archie Comics)
Mark Waid (W) Veronica Fish (A)
The battle for the ages. Fuck Jacob vs Edward, Batman v Superman, Iron-Man vs Captain America. It’s time for some Betty vs. Veronica.
Outcast #19 (Image)
Robert Kirkman (W) Paul Azaceta (A)
Holy shit. I may be big mystery reveal time! Creepy things are going to happen. I sense it in mah bones.
East of West #28 (Image)
Jonathan Hickman (W) Nick Dragotta (A)
The last issue of this series was absolutely incredible. I have been waiting for that moment for so damn long and seeing it come to a head like that was fulfilling in the deepest and most satisfying ways. I can not wait to see what happens next.
An idea awoke in his head like a firecracker during the dead of night. No pun intended. He had discovered a new fear. To come to life in the middle of a surgical study. Weird? Jason didn’t think so as a first year student fiddled around with the tendons running down his arm. It’s a good think Jason couldn’t move. We need more surgeons, scaring the ones we have off would be a damn shame.
