What did you do this week? Was it more than you did last week? Do you feel fulfilled in you life? In your job? In your relationship? Good, because I don’t care. Top of the Stack.
A-Force #4 (Marvel)
G. Willow Wilson (W) Jorge Molina (A)
I am really excited to see this series bloom post Secret Wars, but something about knowing that this continuity will only last a couple more issues makes this one a little less exciting. Weird how this is the way to introduce a title.
Civil War #4 (Marvel)
Charles Soule (W) Leinil Francis Yu (A)

Going back and reading all 105 issues and tie ins to the original Civil War while reading this series definitely makes for some weird connections. This series is definitely a reflection of a period in Marvel’s history, and not just a continuation of an event.
Injection #5 (Image)
Warren Ellis (W) Declan Shalvey (A)
This series keeps pulling me in deeper and deeper. At first I was confused and curious. Now, some of that confusion has subsided, but at the same time, I feel I only see the tip of the iceburg. It’s really nerve racking. I won’t let this series win.
Ms. Marvel #18 (Marvel)
G. Willow Wilson (W) Adrian Alphona (A)
This is the last issue before the inevitable reboot in a couple months. I’m genuinely excited to see how Kamala handles the end of the world. I am sad with the thought that there is a chance that she will be changed post Secret Wars.
Red Skull #3 of 3 (Marvel)
Joshua Williams (W) Luca Pizzari (A)
This series has bee pretty freaking amazing. I mean how often do you get to root for the villains, especially when they are as evil as Red Skull. I’m just saying.
Planet Hulk #5 (Marvel)
Sam Humphries (W) Marc Laming (A)
This has been one of my favorite things to come out of Secret Wars, and I’m a little upset with the idea that it is over so soon. I would love to see more gladiator Steve Rogers, but alas, I don’t think that will happen.
Bitch Planet #5 (Image)
Kelly Sue DeConnick (W) Robert Wilson IV (A)
It’s back! This issue, we finally get to see the intense sport that all these imprisoned badass broads have been training to play and I can say that I am thoroughly excited. I can only imagine that it will be like Thunderball, but you know, better.
Outcast #12 (Image)
Robert Kirkman (W) Paul Azaceta (A)
Remember when Kirkman said that this series was like The Walking Dead, and that you should read it. Well, you should read it, but I wouldn’t say it’s like The Walking Dead. That isn’t a bad thing.
Deadly Class #16 (Image)
Rick Remender (W) Wesley Craig (A)
Doesn’t everyone love a little self destruction now an again? Well, according to Remender, that is an essential part of growing up. Then again, he also seems to think we all attended a secret assassin’s school.
Batman #44 (DC)
Scott Snyder (W) Jock (A)
I am freaking blown away with this new arc. Honestly, I think Snyder has found a way to top every arc he writes. The ferocity with which he creates is intimidating. His Wytches collaborator, Jock, joins him and the artist this month, which means things are gonna get funky.
There we go. Some endings coming, and some heavy hitters. Seems about on part with every week now a days. Is that a good thing? Why am I so interested in questions today? Do I seem needy? Whatever, stay smart.
