Just a couple more weeks till the holidays are upon us and blu-ray releases matter more than ever. The big one to start with is good old Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. I saw this in the theaters and while it make not be the greatest flick ever, it was definitely decent and very very entertaining. And with that coming out we also get the release of the full collection of Mission Impossible.
Next big one, which had horrible horrible reviews, was the most current release of Fantastic Four. I totally wanted this to be good when I saw the trailers, but unfortunately it sounds like it didn’t do all that good. I still wanna see it, but I’ll have to wait for On Demand or something.
Ted 2 is another (semi) big one this yeah, but like the previous release, this didn’t do all that well either. And while I thought the first was decent, this one didn’t really peak my interest to go see.
We also get another film in the Maze Runner series, Scorch Trials and let me tell you, I have no idea what these films are all about… they don’t look like anything special though.
Finally, on the show side of things, we have season 1 of the Netflix show Marco Polo. I haven’t seen this one, but Netflix seems to have a pretty good handle on things, so long as you’re into the particular genre/story.
Tune in with us next week to see what else is coming out before the gift giving season is upon us.
