Hey everyone, and welcome to this weeks blu-ray releases.
Highlight of the week is probably 22 Jump Street, starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. I thought the first was was hilarious, and this sequel actually got great reviews, so I’m super excited to be picking this up.
Frank Miller’s Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, also comes out this week as well. I love the original, and was hoping this one would have come out to be good too, but reviews will say otherwise. In fact, it got pretty bad scores. So… watch at your own risk.
A film called The Wind Rises comes out this week, and to be honest, I haven’t heard anything about it. It’s an animated film that stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, and it looks like a quality movie. I might have to check this one out.
Some other film called If I Stay (with Chloe Grace Moretz) also comes out. If I remember the trailer correctly, is looks like some romance film… doesn’t look like something I would really care for, but reviews have been good, so this might be worth a watch if you’re in the mood for it.
