Another great week in blu-ray releases this week, as we get Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Among the regular editions (DVD, Bluray, 3D) we also get a Limited Edition packaging, which includes every disk version and a couple awesome book ends (check out the picture below).
The next big one, which I call big because it has some good actors and was nominated for awards (but personally I could care less for Julia Roberts), is August: Osage County. Also starring Meryl Streep and Ewan McGregor, this film had great reviews.
Some random movie with only mediocre reviews comes out this week, starring of Robert DeNiro and Stallone, called Grudge Match. I guess we you don’t have any good films coming out, you settle for these side projects.
Last for the week is Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. I only ever saw the first one (which I actually thought was pretty creepy), but I’ve heard they went downhill from there. And this one has less then mediocre reviews to coincide with such downhill. But reviews are just other people opinions, so I guess if you’re into these films, then here is another one for your shelf.
That’s it for the week. Till next time…
