Happy New Year everybody! Hope the holidays treated everyone well.
Looks like we’ll be starting off 2014 with a mixture of stuff.
Highlight of the week is probably Season 4 of Archer. This show is one of my favorites, and I can’t wait to re-watch all of last season’s episodes. With Season 5 starting next week (Monday the 13th to be exact), this is a great time to do some catching up!
On the movies, we don’t have much. Runner Runner, starring Justine Timberlake and Ben Affleck comes out. This looked intriguing, but unfortunately, it didn’t seem to get very good reviews.
Another one, which I hadn’t even heard of, comes out today… Thanks for Sharing, with Mark Ruffalo, Gwyneth Paltrowand Tim Robbins. Great cast, but unfortunately, this also got mediocre reviews. I’m sure I’ll catch it on cable at some point.
Closed Circuit, with Eric Bana and Rebecca Hall, is another one I never heard of. Not sure what it even is. Check it out at your own risk.
We also get a classic released on blu-ray for the first time… Tequila Sunrise, starring Mel Gibson, Kurt Russell andMichelle Pfeiffer.
TV has a bunch of other releases, such as The Following (season 1) and the horrible Duck Dynasty (season 4).
