Hello towelites, and welcome to a week full of releases.
Starting off, we have The Raid 2. If you’ve been following us here at Don’t Forget a Towel, you’ll know that we’ve been excited for this movie, and now we finally get it on blu-ray/dvd.
The well reviewed Nymphomaniac comes out this week as well, and though it stars douchebags like Shia Labeouf, it also stars Charlotte Gainsbourg, Willem Dafoe, Christian Slater, Stellan Skarsgard and Uma Thurman. Directed by Lars Von Trier this movie is for adults only!
Jodorowsky’s Dune is a documentary film covering one of the greatest, most epic, science fiction books of all time, Dune. With interviews, works and music from artists such as Pink Floyed, H.R.Giger, Salvador Dali, Orson Wells and more, this film may be the greatest work to accompany the great book.
Another film that I didn’t even know existed, yet I’m seeing has GREAT reviews, is Bad Words, starring Jason Bateman. I don’t know what to think of this, but I’m definitely willing to give it a try.
Some old ones get released, like a Collectors Edition blu-ray of Lake Placid, and some older ones like the 1967 classic of Point Blank, and the 1960’s Time Machine.
