Hey all. Check out this weeks releases as we get a couple good ones…
Top of list in films we get The Great Gatsby. Buz Luhrmann’s (Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge) latest film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, and Isla Fisher, and is like his other films: entertaining, visually beautiful, and a lot of fun. And if you have a 3D screen, this is actually one of the good ones. I definitely would suggest this being part of your collection (makes a good gift too!).
Another one, though with only mediocre reviews (still kind of want to see it on a lazy Sunday at some point) is Pain & Gain, with Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg. Though he has a couple decent films going for him, I’m not a huge fan of Michael Bay, so I guess we’ll see.
Disney releases The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. My favorite character has always been Eeyore!
On the television side, we has Sons of Anarchy season 5, Grey’s Anatomy season 9, and Elementary season 1. But the great one for the week, which is freaking awesome, is season 3 of Walking Dead. In both DVD and Blu-ray versions, this one also gets a Limited Edition which comes in this awesome display case!
