Looks like we have a few big blu-ray releases this week, and the biggest one of them would probably be Terminator Genisys. Starring good old Arnold Schwarzenegger and the beautiful Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), I was hoping this would have received better reviews that it actually did. I still want to check it out, don’t get me wrong, but it’s unfortunate that a series with such great potential isn’t excelling with every installment it makes.
We also get Trainwreck this week, starring Amy Schumer and Bill Hader. Reviews were give and take, but both these actors are hilarious, so I might have to give this a watch when I get a chance.
Favorable reviews come with Ian McKellen in Mr. Holmes. I’ve always been a fan of Sherlock, and have read many of the books, so I’m totally down in seeing this version of a more mature actor playing that role.
As we wait for Deadpool to finally come out, we can see Ryan Reynolds in Selfless. Along with Ben Kingsley, this got pretty decent reviews, though I have no idea what this film is about.
For all those Michael Bay fans out there, we get a 20th Anniversary collection for Bad Boys I & II. Whatcha gonna do?
And finally today, Star Wars mayhem is reaching a boiling point and here’s another thing to add to your list of collectibles to buy, of course that’s if you don’t already own 10 versions of the films. All six movies are getting the Steelbook treatment and you can actually buy them individually!
