Another week of blu-ray releases has come upon us, but there doesn’t seem to be anything huge.
Biggest one on the list is probably Straight Outta Compton. This one actually received decent reviews, and while I haven’t had the chance to see it yet, I definitely want to.
The Intern follows up with Robert De Niro and Ann Hathaway, but it seems to leave any decent reviews behind.
Speaking of something not sounding good, ironically we have Jem and the Holograms come out. I remember seeing the trailer and everyone was saying how horrible it looked… and considering I don’t even remember hearing it get to the theatre… well, I would probably not even bother with this.
Everest is on the list for this week, and while I’m not really sure what to think about it, the 3D portion of something like this definitely has me intrigued.
TV gives us season 1 of 12 Monkeys. Reviews are mediocre, and that’s unfortunate, as the film it is based on is esceptionally good. Do I give this show a try, or do I just go re-watch the original film… I’m 100% going with the latter.
