Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar comes out today, starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Cain. This seemed to be one of those you either liked it or not films, due to its theoretical scientific nature, but no one can deny the great acting performance, visual excellence and amazing musical score. If you love grand films, this is worth giving a try!
Another Oscar nominated film, The Imitation Game, with Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley comes out today, and though I haven’t seen it, both critics and reviews make it seem like a must watch.
Reese Witherspoon stars in a film called Wild… I think I had heard of it when it first came out, but not much. Good actress, pretty decent reviews, and what seems to be a good story for a drama, this also might be an option to pick up.
As we go down the ladder, we run into The Rewrite, starring Hugh Grant and Marisa Tomei. This came out in theatres, or is it straight to blu-ray. Who cares though, cause at the bottom of the ladder we have another Nicholas Cage random movie of horrible reviews, now accompanied by another actor of not great prestige, Hayden Christensen, called Outcast. Seriously look at the poster cover… this is like a gag gift, right?
Television gives us season 3 of VEEP and Silicon Valley season 1.
