After an epic weekend of movies and TV, let’s see what’s hitting home release on this Tuesday Blu’s-Day!!
How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (Digital)
What a great series. From movies to TV, How to Train Your Dragon has reached its final chapter and I’ve heard it’s glorious. I may have to snag the trilogy on Digital and watch them with my nephews! Check back in a couple weeks when this one hits disc release for you physical media lovers.
I’ve heard RAVE reviews of this movie. I usually don’t have the opportunity to see these films in theaters but I may rent it.
Sixteen Candles 35th Anniversary Limited Edition (Blu-ray, Digital)
A true classic. John Hughes defined a generation with his films. Watch this with your kids and your kids’ kids. If you haven’t watched it you’ve probably been on a galactic adventure for the past 50 years.
Police Story/Police Story 2 Criterion Collection (Blu-ray)
Jackie Chan wrote, directed and starred in both of the Police Story films. Both films are getting the Criterion Collection treatment and I’m seriously considering picking this one up.
Dragged Across Concrete (Blu-ray, DVD, Digital)
Look forward to an upcoming ‘DFAT Interviews‘ featuring Justine Warrington who is in this movie. I haven’t watch a Mel Gibson movie in a long time and this may be the one to jump back in with. Maybe having Vince Vaughn helps make that decision easier. No, I think it’s because we are doing that interview and I generally like checking out our guest’s work.
See you next week!
