Happiest of Tuesdays to you Towelites! This week is jam packed with some awesome releases and I can’t wait to share them with you. We’ve got some undead kitties, fighters from the bowels of Hades, the boy who will become a Knight, and many more!
Silent Hill (Blu-ray)
You remember this video game adaptation? No, well honestly it’s not all that bad. The makeup is still being shown off at comic-cons everywhere and what’s lacking in plot, it certainly makes up in atmosphere. Check it out, but now in HD!
Hulk (4K, Blu-ray, Digital)
Yes, this is the one that Ang Lee directed. It features Hulk Dogs. I tried watching it again recently and while I do enjoy how “comic booky” it gets at times, its still pure garbage.
WaterWorld (4K, Blu-ray, Digital)
You know what? I’ve never seen this film. Now that it’s out in 4K maybe I’ll give it a chance. I mean they did do a whole amusement entertainment section at Universal for it, can’t be all that bad…right?
Pet Semetary 2019 (4K, Blu-ray, Digital)
I’ve heard very mixed things on this movie but I will have to make my own judgement on it because I usually like Stephen King adaptations. I also like undead cats.
High Life (Blu-ray)
When you dummy friend thinks that Robert Pattinson could never be Batman and only Edward from those ‘sparkly vampire movies’ just slip this on and see what happens.
Gotham the Complete Series (4K, Blu-ray, Digital)
This show is a roller coaster ride of absurdity and brilliance. It’s nice to have the complete series in a nice little package. While the ending wasn’t pretty lackluster, the overall show is a heck of a fun time.
Little (Blu-ray, Digital)
I. Love. Body. Swapping. Movies.
Loving Vincent (Blu-ray, Digital)
This movie just looked utterly beautiful. I didn’t get a chance to see it in theaters so I’m excited that I can finally get my hands on it.
Alita Battle Angel (Digital)
Another one of those, I wish I had seen this on the big screen. Hopefully a ton of people buy this on digital today and then on disc when it’s released later on so it gets a theatrical re-release. James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez TOGETHER!? I mean, I loved the Anime so what’s not to be excited about?
Hellboy 2019 (Digital)
It’s not the Guillermo Del Toro films but I’ve heard it’s actually a decent movie. I’ve also heard it’s a dumpster fire. I’ll be the judge today when I finally check it out on digital.
