Sorry its been some time on the Tuesday Blusday releases my Towelites, I went ahead and had a child and pretty much threw my life turned upside down as the ‘ol Fresh Prince would say. But, we’re back and ready to drop some fresh nuggets of movie and tv goodness your way. Without further ado!
Brightburn (4K, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital)
I didn’t get a chance to see this in the theatre and this may just be a blind buy. It’s written by James Gunn and it takes a dark look at the Superman origin story. Did someone say Red Son? I can’t wait to check it out!
The Witches (4K, Blu-ray)
This was always one of my favorite Roald Dahl books and the movie creeped me out as a kid; but in a good way. I can’t wait to dive back into this world of fantasy and hijinx.
The Walking Dead S9 (Blu-ray, DVD, Digital)
Honestly, fell off the show some time ago but for all of you still hanging on, here’s the latest season.
Arrow S7 ( Blu-ray, DVD, Digital)
I have been LOVING these last few seasons of Arrow. Really stepping up their game as far as character development and storytelling. This season he starts off in a prison and it was pretty freaking epic.
Booksmart (Digital)
Hilarious movie. Yes, it really is Superbad with two girls. Hate to say it like that but it’s true. Given that the former came out 11 years ago and hasn’t been touched as far as comedies are concerned, that’s a strong praised comparison.
Ma (Digital)
Hands down the weirdest movie that I’ve seen this year, .Not only that, one of the most fun. I loved it from start to finish as it cracked me up and grossed me out. Oh Blumhouse, please keep putting out movies like this.
MIB International (Digital)
I had zero desire to watch this and I’m not sure that audiences did either. Like, no one wanted this franchise resurrected without the original stars. Hate to say it guys but stick in the Marvel sandbox where you do best.
