It seems that Gravity isn’t going to lose it’s balance, as it takes the #1 Spot at the Box Office again this weekend. The film beat out newcomers, Captain Phillips and Machete Kills, by a lot. The Alfonso Cuaron film brought in another $44mil, bringing it’s total to over $123mil overall. Captain Phillips was in second place with $26mil, but that was far above it’s estimated revenue. Machete Kills on the other hand came in 4th place with $3.7mil. Luckily, the film didn’t cost too much money.

Next weekend, we’ll see the return of Carrie to the big screen. I have a feeling it won’t be #1, leaving Gravity to be the reigning champion for another weekend. It’s not that Carrie doesn’t look good, it actually really does; but horror fans have already shown that reboots aren’t something they clamor for. Guess you’ll just have to Stay Tuned for next week to find out what happens!
