I hope you had a restful Labor Day weekend, and if you were actually Laboring (retail workers and service employees) that you were treated with kindness. If you weren’t…then that’s a reflection on them and not you.

And then I hope you played many violent video games in their honor. Or not, the choice is yours.

This week the indie video game Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime comes to Xbox ONE and PC. For what it’s worth, it will also be playable on Mac and Linux. The game allows for neon-hued cooperative play to defeat Anti-Love from your spaceship. If that doesn’t peak your interest…you might be broken.

Super Mario Maker, the heavily promoted addition to the Wii U family arrives on September 11th. If the ‘classics’ didn’t punish you hard enough, you now have the chance to build the Mario levels of your dreams/nightmares. So buy it for yourself or the child in your family that you are counting on to support you in your old age with a future super-hit game.

If you’ve been lamenting the lack of Castle Crashers on your Xbox ONE, the end to your despair is coming. Castle Crashers Remastered will answer your prayers this week as well.
