Wonder Woman!! Warner Bros has announced today that Gal Gadot, of Fast and Furious fame, has been cast as Princess Diana aka Wonder Woman in the upcoming sequel to Man of Steel, aka Batman vs Superman, directed by Zack Snyder. This is definitely exciting news to all DC Comics fans, because it means that DC and WB are seriously trying to pave the road to a Justice League movie. I am very excited as Wonder Woman is one of my favorite DC characters and it’s about time she made her way to the big screen. No news on if she will get her own feature film as of yet, which Wonder Woman fully deserves, we will have to wait and see! There still is no indication on what role Diana will play in the MOS sequel, for all we know this will be a cameo, or maybe she has been living among mankind for years, or maybe even she will take the form of a secret agent that she has been portrayed as in past comic incarnations. I guess we will have to wait for further news on Gadot’s exciting role! Keep it here to DFAT for more news on the film as it breaks!
The sequel to Man of Steel flies into theaters in 2015! I wonder who else is going to show up? With rumors of The Flash and Cyborg, this film could really be the Justice League movie!
